Crazy Lemmings

Crazy Lemmings is a prototype which uses audio and keyboard input combined to control a lemming. The sounds players make have a big impact on what happens in the game. It is a game for two people, playing together at the same computer (and with the same microphone). The controls are distributed between the two – one player can move horizontally and the other can jump, one player can shout and shush and the other can sing and whistle. The (intended) problem players encountered when playing the game was to coordinate what they had to do while they were also using their voices to control the character. The game requires a great deal of coordination and team-work, which is hindered by the feature of audio input.
